History

2009: Indie boy band in Japan, Now or Never, and Voice

In mid-June 2009, CN Blue began to perform on the streets and in live clubs in Japan.As an indie band, they formally debuted on August 19, 2009 with Now or Never. The mini album was recorded completely in English, and failed to chart on the Japanese national music chart. Later, in November, the second extended play was released entitled Voice. Voice peaked at position 227, and stayed on the Oricon for two weeks, and was recorded mostly in English but also in Japanese. Also that year former Bassist Kwon Kwang Jin left CN Blue in late September after the release of CN Blue's first mini album. Kwang Jin was replaced by Lee Jungshin later that year.

2010: Korean debut, ThankU, and other activities

In January, FNC Music unveiled new teaser pictures for CN Blue's debut in South Korea. Bluetory was released on January 14, 2010. It stayed at the top of the Gaon Chart for two weeks. "I'm a Loner" (Korean: 외톨이야) was promoted as the title track. The song peaked at number two, solidifying their break into the industry. The group had their first televised live stage on KBS Music Bank on January 15. Later, on January 29, the group won their first music show chart win on Music Bank.
The group debuted their new reality show on Korean music channel Mnet, titled "CN Bluetory," on February 10. In March, the band started preparations for their first full length album ThankU. It was released on March 20, 2010, with only one new track. The album peaked at number 90 on the Oricon charts, their highest thus far. Later, in April, their official fanclub name was announced as BOICE, a combination of "blue" and "voice." CN Blue headed back to Korea in May and released their next promotional single, "Love Light" (Korean: 사랑 빛), on May 10, 2010. The song peaked at number 10 on the Korean national chart and foreshadowed their upcoming release. On May 19, the second extended play was released, named Bluelove. It was promoted with the track "Love," which charted at number 2, matching the success the band found earlier with "I'm a Loner." Bluelove peaked at number 3, but stayed on the chart for many weeks. CN Blue held their comeback stage on M!Countdown the following day.After success in Korea, the band headed back to Japan. They released their first single "The Way" on June 23. For the first time, they charted within the Oricon top 40 at number 26. The release was followed by "I Don't Know Why" on September 16 the same year. The song reached number eight on the Oricon daily chart, marking the first time the band made it inside the top 10. On the weekly chart, they peaked at number 15. On the Japanese indie top chart, the band reached number one.The band embarked on a small tour across Japan in order to promote the single.CN Blue members Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jong Hyun will star in the Korean movie "Acoustic." They released a song from the OST on October 7 entitled "High Fly" that peaked at number 98 on the Gaon Chart^.

2011: Re-maintenance First Step 392 and In my Head

On January 9, they released their 3rd Japanese single, Re-maintenance. They started off their 2011 Japanese promotions with a Zepp Tour in 4 cities: Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Tokyo from January 9–16.
FNC Music, their entertainment agency in South Korea, released teasers for a CN Blue comeback for February in 2011.However, it was later changed to a March 21 release date. The teaser was noted for having a "more of the same departure from their pop rock sound into a heavier concept."

Tarix Jabrix 3 (14 june 2011)

Hari Selasa (14 juni 2011) bertempat di PlanetHollywood Jakarta, PT. Kharisma Starvision Plus menggelar press conference film The Tarix Jabrix 3 yang masih disutradarai oleh Iqbal Rais. Kali ini quintet Tria, Dipa, Alda, Qibil dan Erick mendapat dua lawan main baru dan tetap cantik, yaitu Olivia Jensen dan Kamidia Radisti.

Setelah menggelar pre-screening, The Changcuters menyapa media yang hadir dengan membawakan lagu-lagu terbaru dari album 'Tugas Akhir' yang juga hadir di film The Tarix Jabrix. Tria sendiri mewakili The Changchuters merasa bersyukur karena akhirnya mereka bisa menyelesaikan film terakhir The Tarix Jabrix.

Film yang akan tayang perdana pada tanggal 16 Juni 2011 di bioskop seluruh Indonesia ini juga akan menampilkan Joe P. Project, Ingrid Widjanarko, Eddi Brokoli, Barry Prima, Dede Yusuf dan Candil. Bahkan Candil juga menjadi Music Director film yang masih menceritakan tentang problematika asmara dan geng motor.

Sinopsis The Tarix Jabrix 3

The Tarix Jabrix mendapat tantangan terbesar dalam hidup mereka. Setelah gagal menjadi pahlawan saat menyelamatkan sebuah Panti dari kebakaran, CACING (Tria Changcut) yang bekerja di perusahaan asuransi diminta atasannya untuk bernegosiasi dengan musuh lama mereka, gengmotor ROAD DEVILS supaya tidak membuat kerusuhan lagi di Bandung yang sudah memakan banyak korban, dan tagihan klaim asuransi yang menumpuk. Cacing langsung menyanggupi, dan para sahabatnya, DADANG (Erick Changcut), MULDER (Dipa Changcut), CIKO (Alda Changcut) dan COKI (Qibil Changcut) ikut menemani Cacing pulang ke Bandung. Mulder yang mendapat posisi sebagai wakil direktur di perusahaan papinya, memutuskan mundur karena merasa papinya bekerjasama dengan orang asing untuk mengeksploit Indonesia.

Namun saat The Tarix Jabrix yang kali ini berangkat tidak memakai motor mereka, tapi mobil perusahaan kantor, berhasil dilumpuhkan oleh Road Devils yang sekarang sudah memiliki jenderal baru, seorang gadis galak dan jagoan bernama MELLY (Olivia Jensen). Bukan cuma uang negosiasi yang diambil, namun mobil kantor dirusak, dan yang paling memakan harga diri Cacing.. jaket kesayangannya juga disita oleh Melly karena Cacing kalah adu balap.

Cacing malu berat, emosinya bertambah saat ternyata Emak Cacing juga diserang oleh Road Devils. The Tarix Jabrix menyatakan perang dengan Road Devils, dengan dibantu oleh BAROKAH (Eddi Brokoli), mantan jenderal Road Devils yang ingin menggulingkan Melly. The Tarix Jabrix membuat perjanjian dengan Road Devils, mereka ingin mengadakan balapan ulang. Geng motor yang kalah, harus dibubarkan. Melly menyanggupi. The Tarix Jabrix pun berlatih dengan LAKSAMANA RODA GILA (Budi Dalton) supaya bisa mengalahkan Melly dan Road Devils.

Dadang bertemu dengan MAYANG (Kamidia Radisti) yang ternyata juga murid Laksamana Roda Gila. Hati Dadang pun berbunga-bunga, menyangka dapat kesempatan untuk menyatakan cintanya ke Mayang. Namun Mayang menyimpan sebuah rahasia. Sementara itu, atas ide Barokah, Cacing berusaha mencari kelemahan Melly dengan berlagak PDKT ke Melly. Namun dasar Cacing, maksud menjadi agen rahasia, malah jatuh cinta betulan dengan Melly. Mulder yang minggat dari rumah, berusaha dibujuk oleh papinya untuk kembali. Namun Mulder tetap menolak. Yang anak-anak Tarix Jabrix dan Road Devils tidak tahu adalah.. sebuah bencana besar siap melanda.

Siapakah yang bisa memenangkan balapan? The Tarix Jabrix atau Road Devils? Bisakah cinta Cacing dan Melly dari dua kubu yang berbeda bersatu?
